About the event
Society tells women that they're weak & helpless...
That we need to rely on others who are stronger than us for protection.
That we shouldn't wear our skirts too short or travel alone... because if we DO, then "we're asking for it".
That if we're assaulted, it's our fault. We've believed these disempowering narratives for far too long... it's time to take your power back.
The statistic "1 in every 4 women are assaulted in their lifetime" means planning ahead is ESSENTIAL to become your own line of defense.
